At Sweat & Nourish, I know that eating a nutritious diet can have such a significant impact on all areas of your life, whether that be your mental health, your complexion or your endurance, just to name a few. More than that, nourishing your body doesn’t mean a smoothie every day for breakfast, a salad for lunch and a soup for dinner. A healthy, sustainable diet can include all the foods you love, such as cheesy nachos or syrupy pancakes, as long as there’s balance!

A healthy lifestyle spans more than your food choices. Movement, mental health and sleep health are all factors that impact your overall health.

Again, this doesn’t have to be strict rules – there’s no cookie cutter perfect lifestyle for ultimate health. Movement can simply mean walking the dog or incidental exercise from chasing the kids. Meditation and journaling aren’t the only things that will improve your mental health (though they are some good ones!), and 8 hours of sleep a night isn’t the best guideline for everyone. Every person and every lifestyle is unique, we need to find the health practices that work for us and benefit us the most.
